ASSUMPTIONS

ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT LIBRARY:

  1. We would find plays.
  2. Librarians will help us.
  3. We would have to be quiet.
  4. No food, drinks or smoking.
  5. Lots of directional information.
  6. Books will be in certain area.
  7. Computer system will help.
  8. Librarians will be professional looking.
  9. Books will be arranged in a specific order.
  10. When we leave, we will have to go through sensors.
  11. Have to sign books out before we leave.
  12. Tables and cubicles to sit at.
  13. People will be studying there.
  14. Librarians will be women.
  15. There will be Internet access there.
  16. Librarians will know about most subjects.
  17. Not extremely up to date information there.

 

ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THE TOPIC AND INFORMATION:

  1. We will find a good deal of information.
  2. We will find information on other play writes with similar names.
  3. Probably more literature written about plays then an actual playwright. Unless it a famous one like Shakespeare.
  4. Write about the era she is from and topic�s important during her time.
  5. Since she is a woman, she probably has written material on oppression of women by men etc.
  6. Since Canadian plays will be written about Canadian things or use Canadian settings i.e.) farms, winter seasons.

 

ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT ASSIGNMENT:

  1. It will be time consuming
  2. Our final project has to be thoroughly researched.

Due to the time restriction, we will probably not have time to record all information.
